I have a sm465 to np203 adaptor from a 10 spine setup, and a 32 spline np203. If I find a sm465 with the 32 spline output that was mated to a np208, will I be able to use it to mate the the 32 output shaft to the np203 with the factory 465-203 adaptor. Or do I have to buy your 32 spline trans shaft from you?

Unfortunately the factory 32 spl. output shaft is about 4" too long, so you have to use our 32 spl. shaft with the short adapter. We have a batch of the shafts due to be finished in the next week or so.
The only way to use the factory 32 spl. output shaft is to re-drill the front of the 203 and bolt it to the 208 adapter.
It's quite a puzzle to put together sometimes.

Thanks for the quick reply.

What is all invalved in swaping the shaft in the sm465?
Basically a complete tear down and rebuild. Not hard to do though if you can rebuild a motor.

I'd try a 'yard first, they're relatively common. We don't have any to spare since they're a good way to mate a 203 and SM465 and tend to leave quickly, but a wrecking yard may have one available.

What do you guys get for the shortie 32 spline output? I didn't see it listed on your site.
TIA

Elliott

It's been varying batch to batch due to batch size and material price but the last bunch was $340. I'm thinking the current batch should be a bit less but probably not much.
