I have an opportunity to get a sm465-np205 or 208 combo and a set of 3\4 ton axles with 3.73 gears out of a donor truck for 425$ to put in my future blazer? will the bellhouseing and flywheel work off the 6.2 to put on the 350? on the blazer? thank you, and is this a good deal, because i can get the petal and clutch linkage to put on the blazer, off the 84 k20 donor.

Bellhousings are all the same, AFAIK the flywheel will not work as the crank changed on the one-piece rear main small blocks. I assume the 6.2 used the same crank throughout it's run, and again I assume the crank isn't the same as what the one piece rear main motors used.

Depends who you talk to, but the '85-later hydraulic clutch setups are TYPICALLY more appreciated than the earlier mechanical setups.

yes sir, self adjusting and all, thats what my 87 had and i liked it, well i will continue the search for the k5 holy grail.
