Alright right now i have a SM465/NP205 combo in my 1977 blazer and wanna switch in a TH350/NP205 combo. I have a a TH350 and a Auto NP205 sitting in the garage that i got from a junk yard and cracked it open yesterday. It looked like it hadn't had fluid in it for a while!!!! Now i know that the manual is a 10 spline and the auto is a 27 spline. Is there any way to stwich the inputs because the manual was just rebuilt about a year ago. Brand new u-joints all around and seals and bearing. The manual also has a fixed rear and the auto has a slip yoke. So can i just pull the front shaft and adapter out of the 27 spline and put it in the 10 spline one???

You can also change it to fixed yoke on the rear also, if that is the only thing wrong with the 27 spline combo.
