Has anyone ever tried to shorten a 465 output shaft:dunno:? I have a 32 spline 465 and a 205 but the extension housing falls a little short to be able to mount the Tcase to the trans. I'm open to other solutions or opinions. Thank you in advance.

Are you using a figure 8 pattern NP205 with a short 32 spline input gear? Are you using the older 465/fig 8 pattern 205 adapter?

It is a figure 8 pattern, the input sticks out about 2" or so. I believe the Tcase came from a local DNR truck auction (an old military truck) but not positive.

If that's a female 32 spline gear in the 205 and you're using the figure 8 pattern 465/205 adapter, this spacer is what you need:

It is a female 32 spline input. Thats awesome, How long have you guys been making that spacer? I had talked to someone at your shop awhile back and they told me the best solution was a bearing and shaft change with some machining. They also got me set up so my 205 is flange output front and rear:thumb:. thanks again for your help!
