SM465 pops out of 3RD

I am sure that this has been covered but I could not find it in the search.


Any way the SM465 I just installed will grind a little then it will pop out of gear. is this the froks that do this or just an adjustment?

I believe what causes your tranny to slip out of gear is a worn snap ring, correct me if i am wrong.
