Alright. I bought a 465/205 combo a little over a year ago. It only came with the trans. (no bellhousing), transfer case adapter, drive sleeve and transfer case.

My question is..... Can I buy a crap two wheel drive parts truck and use the bellhousing/clutch/pedals/flywheel/shifter/other accessories with a four wheel drive transmission?

I'll be happy to answer questions about anything i left out.

Yep, it'll all interchange. Did you get a shifter with the 205? What year is your truck? Are you wanting to use mech or hydro style pedals?

Hey John! Yeah, I have A 205 shifter, but its off of a th350/205 combo. Its going in a 1975 Blazer with a th350/203 as of now. I would like to use a hydro clutch, but it isn't a priority. Mechanical linkage would do fine if thats all I could get.

Also, I get out of the Marine Corps Dec. 13th so if you need a hand on the blazer down the road I'd be happy to help!

Getting out next month!? :eek1: Wow, time flies!

Hydro is nice, there's no markings on your firewall for mounting the m/c so that's a little tricky but I think I've seen a map posted here before to do it. Either way, if you can find a donor truck just take it all and it'll fit.

Thanks for the offer to help, I actually got it running a week ago so I'm very close to having it streetable. Still got a few tweeks before I can wheel it but they're not too bad.
