Does anyone know the cheapest place to get new sm465 shift forks? The coating on the ones in my trans is gone....

I just got mine from a company on eBay trans something. Do a search on eBay for sm465 find the shift forks for sale and that will be the company. They are based out of Corpus Christi, TX but the parts were drop shiped from CA. Had then in a day. They were $49 each.
I just got the coupler from this place prices seemed good and shipping was fast. Are they not just plastic tabs that you replace and come in the small parts kit? i have not seen them but have been told on some tranny,s they are.

465 uses what looks like a dipped plastic of some type.
Good "upgrade" if possible would be to find some of the replaceable pads that most all others transmission and transfercases use, and retrofit those to the 465 forks.
Probably not real cost effective since the forks seem to last 20+ years.
