I don't know if anything changed these days but I never could ever get an insulting low ball offer when i asked that much for 2wd SM465.
All the ones I had sold for $75 or less, I have seen them sell as high as $100.
But you can hold on and see if no one else has one for sale and someone needs one they might pay $200.

Thanks for the info. I've never bought one of these or sold one. It seems the tranny is worth less than a clutch!

I wasn't trying to be a jerk, I was trying to give as much info in one response.
If it came out like a jerk I apologize.
As for comparison with a clutch, I sold a couple with a good clutch for $100.
Used parts I guess are more of offer and demand, and since a lot of people part trucks out for an engine or an axle, they want to get rid of the rest for cheap so they get money quick.
That in turn drives the prices down for everyone.
A few years back I was just selling for reasonable prices and giving away what I can't sell.
Now I get what I can because the market is already f***d up and I need cash

Also not trying to be a jerk but it comes down end use, and supply and demand. That tranny cannot easily be used in a 4WD so demand is very low. That tranny is nearly indestructable, so not many people with 2WD trucks would need a replacement.
I have the exact tranny sitting here. I would be very lucky if someone would take it off my hands for free...or I could scrap it for a few bucks.

Well thanks for the info. I'm selling it because I can't use it for anything either! haha

Why is this? I really know little about 465's but I thought the hot ticket was to find these out of frito lay trucks which weren't 4x4?
