i am doing an experiment with dual trans...so i want cheap deals...thinking $100 or less or trade...might sound unrealistic but im in no hurry just a side project to kill time and learn something new

i was also thinkin that was kinda high I have one outside i'd sell for $2000

You might ought todo a search over on Pirate. Someone did a dual 465 trans setup, and found the input on the second tranny could not stand the multiplied torque input.

haha didnt notice that typo....yeh its changed now $100. and yes i know of the guy in pirate...and from what ive talked to him he has had no issues with the dual manuals just the 700r4/465 combo

If your doing a double manual do need a 2 wheel sm or a 4x4 sm.

i think youll want the newer 465's that had 32spline, the older ones were 10spline

I'll check my two wheel drive sm465 and see if its a 32 spline.

I have the remedy for that, I have all he needs but I will need more than a couple of hundreds for that.
I have a 465 from a Medium duty which had the 1.5" input shaft versus the 1.125" that the regular GM's have.
And the output I have is a 32 spline which also is stronger than the 10 spline for the final tranny.
I really wanted to do this myself but finances and life changes made it that I am not able to finish the project.
