What is the small box on the side of a 205 transfer case that the speedo cable goes through?
more than likely it sounds like a gear reduction/multiplier that is used to correct speedo calibrations based on larger tires or different gear ratios that came from the factory. It should have a number on the side like 1.05 or something that will indicate the percent of reduction.
Sounds right. Does anyone know how to calibrate one for 4:88's?
there was a guy I got hold of WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY back.. he said send him yours.... and he will re-calibrate it for $75....
