Small box on speedo cable?

more than likely it sounds like a gear reduction/multiplier that is used to correct speedo calibrations based on larger tires or different gear ratios that came from the factory. It should have a number on the side like 1.05 or something that will indicate the percent of reduction.

I use Speed Sentry.... if you click the sun button.. it is white with black numbers....
cool part is you can tell it MPH..
also tracks your miles and all and is accurate as hell....

just got a external pcmcia drive setup... 20gb laptop drive in it at the moment..... the thing hangin on the left is a fm transmitter... so my directions come over the speakers in the truck... also can play mp3's or watch a movie.. (dont recommend the movie part driving a truck with wide bias hawgs as you may hit someone :haha: )
