Need some ideas on some small hp gains. Done all the little stuff,k&n fiters, removed fan, larger exhaust(3), lower gears.
Think I need to put some real money in the rig now.I was thinking of a new chip, maybe rocker rollers,or maybe a rv cam.
Need some feed back on best upgrade for your money. Need to keep it reasonsable for now. I just bought new bfgoodrich Mtr's 37-12.5x15. Finding I need a little more hp to keep the rubber turning.
I have a 90' k5, 5.7 liter, 4 speed.TBI feeding it.4.11 gears.
thanks for the feedback. /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Well what I would do is buy an edelbrock intake to fit new vortec heads. also I suppose a cam from edelbrock or an RV cam would also help out. Also maybe a set of headers if you don't have them already doing the vortec heads and manifold would cost around 1000 and probably give you an extra 30 to 50 horses.

If you have a really big shoe horn this will work...LOL

Check out the stuff here:turbocity.com

Doing a few mods to your TBI will give a nice boost in power. Most of the mods on that page work real well on low end torque and all around performance. I have been real satisfied with their stuff.
Try a new distributor module(Or new distributor) from these guys:DUI Performance Distributors
It will help on the low torque as well as top end.
These are fairly cheap mods that I have found to produce a lot of power for the $$$$ invested.

Don't waste money on some generic chip. Save it for when you do cam or head mods and have a "custom" chip burned.

Headers, heads, cam, and intake can all make a big difference.

Roller rockers are nice. IMO though, spend the money on something that produces more gains, (heads, headers, etc) then spend money on roller rockers.
