If I were to buy a 4" all around spring lift, to replace me ghetto rigged 6" lift that the previous owner put on, would i just leave steering how it is and the t-case lowered? Would I really have to mess with brakelines or anyhting like that? Or just swap the springs and shocks and go?

should be fine, get a rough country lift, they are tall for 4". as far as your steering, you may have to mess with the adjustable link between the steering arm and the steering box, but that is easy

Go for a Superlift "softride" 6 inch all springs. You'll only need the leaf springs, you've already got everything else.
