I remember seeing ads in Hemmings for a device made of curved pipes that looked like a "C" and had a similar way of tilting a car or truck up onto one side,it had a acme thread screw inside the pipes with a peice that stuck out and went under the side of the vehicle...a 3/8" electric drill provided the power to lift the vehicle up!....................................................................................................I saw one in person being demonstrated at a auto swap meet in CT once--the guy was showing how it worked,using a late model Mercedes on it ,to show how much he trusted it!..it looked pretty scary,but he showed how stable it was once it was "flipped" onto its side...you had to remove the battery and fuel from the tank if you wanted to flip it onto the side tha gas tank filler was on though...I bet oil would hydrolock the cylinders too,if you left it on one side long enough...the device was about 800 bucks...
