Ok so now that my hydro clutch swap is almost done...I cant get the tranny back in :doah: anyhow..that is my problem... so took the tranny and xfer out.. pressure washed them nice and perdy.... now I took the xfer case of to lighten it up a bit.... when I did that fluid came out of the tranny... since I have had the truck I have never changed the gear oil.....

so it is gear oil right?
what weight and how much to put in?
just pour down the shifter hole?
Thanks
Jeff

Uhh, 80w-90. Tranny will take somewhere around 4.5 quarts and i think 3 quarts for the t-case.

For the tranny, take out the fill plug in the drivers side top of the case. Then remove the shifter. Pour gear oil down the shifter hole until gear oil comes out of the filler hole. (4 quarts or so later.)
For the t-case i had to get a pump and pump the gear oil through the filler plug on the back of the t-case until it starts leaking out.
