Anyone have one? How do they compare to hi-lift? My main concern is are they just re badged and painted harbor freight Chinese stuff?

Lol I have a harbor freight hi-lift. The only thing wrong with them is that they need a better bolt on the foot thats it... For jacking my truck up to change a spare it works fine. I wouldnt get under the truck with it up on it but thats regardless of the make of the farm style jack.

Well, it is listed as being all-cast; I would guess that the Harbor Freight one has at least some stamped parts, a la the low-end "real" one. The Hi-Lift people are also very proud of their handle design, for what that's worth.

I figure it's worth the extra ten bucks or whatever that the brand name cost for the peace of mind over the years I'll use the thing.

I was tempted to get one of the HF knockoffs for my mostly-road rig, but jeez, it was mostly a maillcrawler, so I stuck with a bottle jack. The latter was more practical and easier to store, if less trendy and stylish =))
