1/2 ton status
I'm about to get my Jimmy inspected and want to make sure everything is right. On the diverter valve from the smog pump there are 2 lines one goes to the air cleaner and the other goes to the exhaust manifolds. which on goes where on the diverter valve? My guess is the one that has air going to it when the engine is cold would go to the exhaust manifolds so it can help heat up the catalytic converter, and the other would go to the air cleaner as a bypass. Does this sound right?
