If I remove Oil Filler cap I can see some faint smoke coming out. If I remove the dipstick I see same thing.
Is this normal. Truck has 200K.

Smoke out of oil filler cap and dipstick

I believe this to be fairly normal. Diesels don't have any engine vacuum so it is harder to pull these vapors back into the intake. I think some of the diesel have a tube/filter that plumbs back into the air cleaner. Mine also smoke some from both the dip stick tube and filler cap.
