Big bucks? Probably. I've seen 2 k5s. One was 2wd. Hopefully soon I'll come down here and get to drive one up. I've seen one lifted truck. 2wd tacoma. You dont need another "tow rig" short bed that thing and take it to Eureka!!

I sold my dodge so I need this for Towing duty until the new House and shop is done then its common rail time.

That makes two of us that went from 12v to back to Chevy. That truck should scoot with all the work done to it.

I hated to sell the dodge but the 12 valve is not what I wanted. I made money on it though enough to pay off all but 2000.00 of our Debt and Buy this truck. . So I'll suffer through with the 6.5 for awhile until we have the shop and house done and then I'll pick up a wrecked common rail or d-max and swap it in too my other 91 V3500 SRW

I hear ya. Mine had a bad top end because the previous owner. My guess is be ran the wrong oil. Then I broke a barrel in the pump. Time to go bye bye. What are you doing with the dually at the house?

What are you doing with the dually at the house

Well the 6.2 is fragged.

So,

Find another 6.2/6.5 to throw in it
Or
Take the engine, fuel tank and cab/front clip from my 91 R3500
Or
Swap in a Carbed 454
Or
Cummins Swap
Or
Take the axles and 4L80E/NP205 and various other goodies and swap into the K20 thats in the Garage

Most likely though I'll swap the R3500 Cab and engine on to that frame

Jesus. If i had half as may projects as you my head would spin. Those axles are in my blazer. 4.10s and a gov-lock. I used my buddies shop one day after work and only got the front done. Death wobble? Changed the drag link of my 10 bolt and fixed that. I think I'm either going to add zero rate, shorten my rear shackles, or take some leafs out of the rear. Those front leafs were 4inch. My rear end sits a little high with Kert's 6.5" shackles. I gotta rebuild the front end when i get back. Hopefully ill make a trip out to you next weekend with that 203/12b/10b.

Gus you ever drive a truck down the road at highway speed with those upper door mounted mirrors? Just wonder how clear they are?
