Ok guys i did a search and can't seem to find why. Started the wifes 89 burb and I noticed it was smoking a little ( a rich smell). Drove it and noticed it just keep smoking. Stopped at a light shut it off and restarted it no more smoke. Got any ideas? :eek1:

You can tell if it is running rich by the color of your plugs. Pull a couple of easy ones and check them out.

Oh and as soon as I go back to work (June 24th) I will be picking up your T-shirt! :D

I'm running true duals and getting some smoke out the RT bank.

Not much but wont go away. Can't tune the carb anymore than what it is for air/fuel ratio. Guess I need a carb rebuild...

As for white smoke that goes away...it's moisture in the engine that burns away. Common on most cars until the engine warms up and the choke comes off.
