Snaged an 8274 but what about this serial number?

Snagged an 8274 and it needs a new pinion. No problem I thought. Jump on http://www.winchcentral.com/home.asp and order a new one. But they only have them listed down to 344817 and mine is serial number 260692. Billavista's tech also doesn't reference on this old. The winch is in great shape and seems to use the same parts as the 344series. Anyone have a clue?

Call Warn up directly. A buddy of mine picked up a used military version Warn that was in pieces and the tech guys were VERY helpful and spent a lot of time on the phone with him, and even sent him copies of the manuals and some misc. pieces and parts for free.
