ok. so i was browsing through my jegs catalog when i came up on this power package. And i'mhttp://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_10001_12051_757803_-1_11261 curious how in the hell this woulld even help???

the hypertech little tbi power charger seems like complete B.s. how is a dish going to help with anything? the jegs ram air tube. looks like a stock ram air tube (just $24 instead of like $8). and do the throttle body spacers even help on a 5.7 (heard they work well on jeeps 4.0) or is it all just snake oil???

bowl helps flow more air into the intake. heard a lot of people claim it works well. Never used one myself.

One thing I have use, is a TB spacer. TBI is the ONLY situation where I would use one of these spacers(at least use one and expect a power gain, maybe use one for nitrous or something in another situation).

Turbo city sells the one to get. Its an open style spacer. Allows both injectors to feed the entire engine instead of just one bank per injector.

Injector spacers help flow more air as well.

For that much money I'd rather buy:

Turbo City makes some decent stuff for the TBI engines.

I'd just get a K&N filter, throttle body spacer, and injector spacer for that much money. Could still have some left over to save for headers and 3-wire O2.

So, no the stuff isn't snake oil, but don't go in expecting huge gains.

okthanks. never heard of turbocity before. i wasnt planning on buying that kit but the components in it is what i was curious about. It just seems so odd to pay $240 for such simple things.
