Snorkel

I am looking for a snorkel to fit on my 83 Fulsize Jimmy. Tried looking for an aftermarket, but didn't find any made for my truck. Anyone know if they make one or where I could get instructions to build my own?

The snorkel made by ARB for the Land cruiser is supposed to be a close enough fit for our trucks. Just needs some slight modifications from what I heard anyways.

Snorkles will get in the way more than help IMHO. Trails in my area are tight and anything sticking out past sheetmetal will be gone. I lost my last motor because I ingested water, didn't hydrolock because it was at like 5k rpm.

What I did was cut a hole in the cowl above the heater and put the plastic piece that normaly goes in the core support there, then route the air cleaner tube to it.
