Snorkle?

There was a snorkle question that was asked about a day or more and shouldn't be that hard to find it if you go back 1-2 pages. There is the search function as well.

The model for a toyota fj60 is the closest fit.

Or maybe the new ford Superduty

man, how does that thing not get torn off my trees/rocks? really sticks out there. I'd recommend making your own similar to the ORD blazer... run the dryer hose-looking stuff through the firewall and cab and have it run up to the top of a cage in the back somewhere. Stuff sticking out of the fender isn't the best of ideas IMO.

I dont know bout that SuperDuty one. Their A-pillars seem to have a lot more slope to them than a K5. Atleast it looks that way in the pictures on their web site.

I'm guessing thier pretty close.

Here is the fj60 model on mine. I think it is a much closer fit than the fj80.

I made mine for 10 bucks. Used a shop vac hose that runs through the firewall and up the passenger pillar to the roof. Totally inside so it does not get ripped off. The intake noise is kinda annoying but I don't run it all the time, only when playing in the mud and water. Some may say it looks like $hit but it works, and I don't have to worry about it getting torn off.

I've got a 77 blazer, i think i read someone elses that said somethign about there being different body lines on mine... was i right or am i imagining things  ..... any who, where could i also get the stock air filter casing, the guy before me had a open filter system put in.
thanks

different body lines from what, a truck? The blazers and trucks have the same dimensions(body line wise).

I'd post up in the wanted section or look in a local junk yard for a stock breather assembly.

You know, if a bunch of us would just email ARB requesting them too make snorkels for our trucks, we just might get them into production.
