It's a Honda HS80 snowblower.

Here's the owners manual. If you find a source for the shop manual (other than paying full price for it), I'd love to get my hands on one for my HS828.

One of my friends "restored" his lol:

Make sure you have some extra shear pins if that blower uses them. Sucks breaking a pin in the middle of clearing snow and not having a replacement.

I have 4 lift tickets that I never used, terrible year! I'll be praying to the snow gods and doing a snow dance this fall.

Squaw is putting a nice guarantee on next year's pass, where if you don't ski 5 days, they'll credit you $100 a day towards the following season.

May pickup a pass this weekend under that plan, and go get in a nice shirtless spring day this weekend.

Good tip on shear pins, picked some up!

Squaw is the one mountain I avoid, too many gapers. That's a good deal and I wouldn't be surprised if other resorts start implementing a similar program.

We stick to Sugar Bowl, Alpine & Northstar with the occasional trip to Homewood just because it's close to the cabin.

I just keep saying squaw. I also prefer alpine, but its the same pass.

They'll toss in a few sugarbowl and sierra passes today.

So, snow season is approaching. I spent a bit of time on the HS80 i bought from terry, and I think i need a gas tank to stop the leak.

I could also use new tracks, a new pull cord, etc.

I had a guy lined up to do some repairs i don't have time for, but he was afraid to get into it given its appearance.

As said before, its had a hard life, but runs good.

Anyone have a good parts source for these?

Striking out on tank and tracks. Thanks!

If i can't find parts, i'll run it leaking as it is, and see how it does. Tracks have seen better days, but will probably work.

Thanks!

Didn't know the tank itself was leaking. Is it something you can fix with JB Weld? It is just a snowblower lol. Hell I could probably make you a tank with my press brake and welder.

They aren't cheap, but Nevada Power Products on Glendale next to D&D Roofing has really good customer service. That's where my buddy buys all his Honda and Stihl equipment for their trucking company. I'm sure eBay or something would be cheaper for parts though.

I need to figure out what the hell my dad did to the transmission on my 828. It's one of the hydrostatic units. It will engage intermittently when it is warm but acts like it's in neutral most of the time. No visible leaks and the fluid level is where it should be. Apparently the fluid isn't serviceable or something.

Need to take a closer look at the tank, but think it is. We'll see. I'll chat with that parts place too, thanks!
