Got my oldest to help, he did 90% of the work. HE got rust dusted with the impact gun on the exaust we got it out, head gaskets wer destroyed, the valve covers leak bad, need to hit up parts store for gaskets, going to clean it, slap a clutch and bell housing tomorrow and slap it in

Ok we got the radiator from the 87 suburban in this now with fan and power steering and shroud, I'd spend more time making it nicer but I'll probably use it less than 24 hours a year, Teaching the boys how to time
the engine and drop in the hei and bolt up the carb today,

Got my oldest boy helping again,Using the boom to make life easier, technically his 2nd swap, both auto and stick, and if you have a boom, you definitely need a swing.
