Blazen91 sorry I havent called for help my father passed away on Friday,He was a great man god bless him.But I finished the front today I think thats a good ideal where you want to head? The BB area or stoddard wells?

Where are you guys located? I am in Orange County and would love to meet other K5ers to go wheeling one of these days. I will be heading up to Big Bear for the New Years weekend if you guys are interested. I can't do the 23rd but would love to go some other time...I still haven't finished my web page, hope to get that done soon.

How many of you guys are in So Cal, so far in this thread theres four including me, with at least two of us in Orange county, everybody else is planning trips in Telico, The Midwest and Colorado, We should all put our heads together and do a Southwest Or California Trip, i bet we could get the Guys from AZ to come, Like a TDS kinda thing in Anza Borego, or Big Bear or something, What do you guys think?

Don't forget me!!!! I'm in San Diego and I'm in. Unfortunatley I'm out of action for now, but I should be running early next year. I'm going through an engine swap right now, and I'm very limited on time, so my completion date just keeps getting set back. I actually should have been done by now.
Here's a link to some local stuff, I know it's mainly San Diego related, but it's a start. http://www.sd4wheel.com/ Their Superstition Mountain Run sounds like fun, to bad I'll probably have to wait.

It's not what you buy, it's what you build!

I am actually looking at doing the Superstition Mountain run in February. Let me know if any of you guys will be doing it. I would be especially up for a Big Bear run in the snow (when we get some!) and the Arrowhead trails...I also would love to go se the Truckhaven area in Anza Borrego, I still haven't been down there yet! We should definitely put our heads together and come up with a couple of dates! As soon as my ARB and 4.56s are done in the front, I will be set! This weekend I finish the rear 14 bolt, put it in (it has 4.56 and Detroit), swap my wheels to 8 lug pattern, swap the front brakes and hubs to 3/4 ton size...almost done!!! (Well, we're NEVER done, but for now at least!) Anyway, would love to get together with all of you and have some fun out on the trails!

Coopertwpk, very sorry to hear of your loss. Time will help heal.
For all the So. Cal K5ers. I'm in the San Fernando Valley. Would love to meet fellow posters and hit some trails together. Will have to be after the new year though. BIG family :(( and strapped for time until then.
Peace
James

coopertwpk- Sorry to hear that. Anything I can do, just call.

As for the run, I'm not really sure. If you have ideas, I'm open. I was thinking Big Bear would be nice. I know there's a trail off of the 330 that goes up to the back side of Big Bear. Anyone else in the area is more than welcome also.

Yeah, 3N93 has lots of cool spots, some good little rock gardens and mogul hills. Deep Creek is also a challenge coming up the hill towards Green Valley. My parents have had a cabin there for ages, that is my home base when I do winter wheeling. Just let me know when you guys think you could do something, I am anxious to go!

I'm going some where on the 23rd! Just call me(760)948-4210 and we'll get it set up.

I'm @ parthenia & oso (between mason and winnetka). But I've been living in "the valley" for about 20 years.

And I've only had the truck for about 3 months, so the only dirt its seen was on a logger road on a roadtrip to northern cali (fern canyon, humbolt county) and it handled real well. I just don't want to go out wheelin' to se what she can do without anyone there to pull me out if I get stuck.

.undertow.

kpanza- No problem, I'll try to call you tomorrow.(Sat)
undertow- Of course, Brother, it's a free world and I would love having you there. I off roaded for years in a 2x. Bajas, Nissan truck, GMC Sonoma, ect. If you can make it, be there.
