Some of you may have seen my post asking how much my 6.5 is worth. My brother picked up a Duramax engine, Allison trans., and transfer case out of 2002 Dooley Crew Cab for a whopping $2000.00, yes, $2000.00. The truck supposedly had been wrecked (tree fell on it) and the owner had the insurance lapse and had to part it out /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif.
Sooo, I am trying to talk him into selling it to me and swapping out the 6.5. He might keep it as a spare engine for his trucks (he has a 2500HD and 4 medium dutys with the Dmax). We'll see. /forums/images/graemlins/thinking.gif
