Well tonight i think i made a huge mistake. I was cutting the lower bolt of the rear shock and i accidently cut into the bracket that holds the shock, i slightly cut it kinda on an angle not all the way through and then another accidental cut that goes from the bottom of the braket half way up to the hole. :( i feel like a complete idiot.. i figure tommarow ill weld it and it should be good right?

yea welding it up should work fine. it just depends on how much of the metal is cut. i dont see it being any problem and if it does break when you are driving, i cant see it doing any significant damage.

I think welding it will be fine. If you are worried about the holes cracking open you can just weld a thick washer for the same diameter bolt to the outside. This is also a good idea in high stress areas so wallering is less of an issue.
