I saw this on eBay and we all know there were no 1987 CUCVs. I emailed him and asked about it.... another case of not knowing or just dumb?

Strictly speaking there are no 1985-86 CUCV's either ... they're all 1984 parts, just assembled later :D

You know that late in the year most states register it as the next year, maybe his DMV registered it as an 87 and he's going by the Registration.

He says no title just bill of sale.

Q: so this does not have a title?
A: No title bill of sale only. You can get a title from this web site www.its-titles.com

yea he sent me another strange email too!

Dear rodzshop,

I hate to tell you if some one told you it was a 1987 they lied. The vin says 1986 and the GM CUCVs were produced in the 1984-86 time period (mostly 1984) and were powered by 6.2L Detroit Diesel V8 engine.

I wish you luck on the auction.

There were '87 CUCV's. Very low numbers though. Pretty much just the end of the contract for '86 overlapping.

If you want I can call my uncle and see if he remembers when they stopped making them, he was there in Flint.
