SO how many of your girls are into wheeling

My wife loves it....even when it's a freezin' cold snowy night like in this pic! In fact I'm in trouble if I go out on my own!!:D
(oh ok...the pic didn't work so use your imagination) lol

I don't know if she really enjoys it like I do, but my wife goes along with me, drives when I offer to let her. She doesn't like the camping part but she knows I'll just go without her and doesn't want to be left at home :D

In fact, she's driving in the picture in my avatar.

Wife loves it. Two year old daughter says "make bazer go vroom vroom daddy" My wife broke her foot helping me move an SM465 with an NP205 attached. Wife said she nearly peed her pants on her first time wheeling with me. Take my advice and break them in gently. Oh and by the way my wife almost rolled my work truck off a 100 foot cliff last summer.

My kids (5 and 6 yrs old) love it, and I just bought my wife a pair of pink camo mechanix gloves for valentines day. She loved them.

The first time I took my girlfriend out she got scared, got out of the truck, and started walking back to the house.

Thats kinda like my first experience driving off road with the wife. I got scared, got out and walked home.

It's been my experience that every women says she loves to wheel, but when she realizes what type of wheeling I'm into, how serious I am about it, and what a big part of my life wheeling is, then things start changing. She either can't hang with more than a few hours, or gets butt hurt that I'd rather be out wheeling than doing just about anything else. I'm the sure the women is out there somewhere that can really hang with me....I'm not holding my breath though.

Honestly though, what women could hang with a 4 or 5 day trip to the Hammers with no shower or amentities and being 30 miles from anywhere?

Wheeling has always been a family thing for us, even before I had a 4x4 truck we all used to jump in my 3/4 ton 2 wheel pickup and go run around in the mountians. When I first started to get into wheeling I knew if I didnt get the wife and kids involved sooner or later it would become an issue so since they all like it to its not such a biggy if I'm wrenching or scrounging parts alot of the time.
My wife loves the mud, infact I cant get her out of the drivers seat most of the time! Trails are cool to but nothing to extreme. Allthough now that we have two rigs and she is driveing more she is starting to push the envelope. Last summer she took her sister out huckleberry picking while I was at work and scared her so bad she got out of the truck and refused to go any farther up the trail!!
The only down side to all this is now she is starting to call the K5 her truck and she talks mad sh*t to all my friends about how she is going to whip my ass because the Sub-buggy only has 36'' tires and "her" truck has 38.5's and how much more kick ass Boggers are than Irok's!!!!
O-well at least she's in the game!

my wife has gone a few times but won't go anymore . the down hill stuff scares the crap out of her and the last time we did browns camp (TSF) she rode in the back seat and closed her eye's (went to her happy place) when I did any down hill stuff . She will go if it's mild stuff in the sand , But no wicked trails or rock's . she will get out and watch . I did a mild snow run up at Goat Mt and she wouldn't do that either . Maybe when I get my 57 cj5 done , I can get her out and teach her to drive it and maybe she will come around to going in the big burb again. She say's MAYBE! :wink1:

:haha::haha::haha::haha::haha:

I think id fall in the same boat as you, my girlfriend enjoys the four wheeling atmosphere of sitting around a campfire shooting the **** drinking beer or seeing nature that most people dont get to see but she isnt too crazy about anything nerve racking like going up steep hills with little traction or going through rough ass trails with alot of breakage. Cant really blame her but you just kind of gotta roll with the punches when you are wheeling. Oh well she lets me wrench 24/7 and i love her anyway.

By the way, that location is beautiful!
The wifey hasn't gone yet, and she'd probably puke at 30* climb, or peeking over the window sill down a 1000 ft. drop, but I take advantage of any little op to help her "get over it". She was reluctant, but she has fired .38 spl +P; wouldn't fire .357 mag though (IMI hammerammo).:haha:

yeah i cant wait till my junk is done no money lately tho or time or desire to wrench so just kinda takin a break till i get around to it
