I am wanting to extend the sides out so my tires are completely on the trailer when towing.

Was planning on just using some angle iron so that I can just deck it with a 2x6 and it will be level with the rest of the deck.

Would probably then use a combination of the angle and square to make drive over fenders.

What else have you guys done like this?

okay so new idea, I may hinge the fenders to just move them out of the way when loading stuff, going to extend it to the full width of the fenders with rec tube and weld some flat below it to lay the decking on with some angle welded to the trailer side for the decking.

Where do you guys like your D ring/ tie down points at?

I have stake pockets all along both sides of my trailer which work fine for me but would like a couple D-rings on the very back because the chains will be up against the tires if the truggy aint positioned just right and I think it's better not to have them up against the tires.
Lets see some pictures of this trailer already:D

LOL ummmm it rained for a long time.

After some use of the trailer I only have to drive up and over one fender to get the Horton on the trailer. The fenders are actually strong enough that I can drive over them as is. So when it gets warm I am rewiring it painting fixing brakes and adding a short extension onto it. Horton when loaded good for most trucks sticks out a foot or so behind the trailer

Pictures soon

I used 4x6 angle.
