so im about to do a cummins swap!

im about to do a cummins swap into my 83 gmc shortbox! The donor dodge is a 92 3500 4x4 with a 105,000 miles on it. My main ? is has any one used all the running gear under the dodge? im thinkin of using the dodge d60,d70 trany and transfer case under my chev. what do u guys think? any help is greatly appreciated!

anything is possible given fab skills. I don't see any problems with a Dodge drive train.

That D60 front axle should bolt right in and be one of the better years for D60's that Dodge ever used.

Check the gear ratio on the Dodge, if it has 3.07's beware that there is a limited selection of replacement gears (especially for the rear). Any 60 is worth getting but some are not as desired as others.
