Looking at buying a nicer one for my 383. I have an 8" balancer on right now, If I put a 7" or 6 1/2 balancer on will I have any problems?

Looking at this one right now, nice price range, and it's what I want.

Aside from where my timing pointer location would have to be anything else?

Stay far away from a Fluidampr they are known to break the snout off of the crank. Give me a second and i'll find a good cheap alternative for you.

I havent heard anything bad about a fluidampr except the price, but I have a pioneer balancer on my 496, knock on wood its still going strong.

It says that the counter weight can be removed for internal apps... Since you have it maybe you can answer this. Does it unbolt? or would I have to drill or cut it off?

The summit brand one. IIRC they are tested to 8000 rpm's
