so my stepdad just snagged up an '80 K-20..! hmm.....

so my stepdad snagged up an old beater snow plow 80 k-20 non-silverado(base style grille and round headlights like the 79's

it runs and everything but its rusted beat, and the brake system is toast, some lines are blown or something,

i been asking what he plans on doing with it but he tells me that he doesnt know yet,
but personally i am pretty sure that he will yank the engine and such*weve been through this before with stuff he has snagged up in the past), i know that he doesnt know alot about axles and or cases and such, and that he does not know the 205 in it is a "one year" case and such.,
and im not gonna clue him in on that either,

its got the 80 style 205 with aluminum slip tail, 2wd position on shifter ones year deal

so i am hoping he parts it,
plus i want the 14 FF axle anyways

what do you think is fair offer for the case and/or axle

That's exactly what I was thinking. Just pull the stuff he wants and you keep the rest.

Im curious too, I just got rid of the same thing.. was from a K5 ?

I prefer the fixed yoke anyhow... which is why it's gone
