So my wife wants a new SUV...

She has another bun in the oven and wants to upgrade from her 2004 Taurus to a SUV.

What do you guys think of this one?

I don't think she would ever go for it but I would drive it!

We have been lucky and not had much trouble with our taurus. (Neither have my sister-in-law or Gma-in-law) but I do think our tranny is about to start giving us some real trouble. She wants a Furd Escape.

From my experience with the one at work.. it's going to need some help soon. Trans is already making noise at 27k.. but it's driven hard and only averages 12-13mpg with lots of stops. The wheel bearings and brakes are really making noise, too.

I like that burb.. and if it's got what they say done to it, it looks like a decent deal. Talk 'em down of course
