So what does my 14B have, Gov lock

Just wanted to know what i have. I was told its a no spin. hope its not a gov lock. not sure how to tell. as always thx

Dfinetly a detroit (or same style locker) given the hole spacing im sure theres 4. and no spider gears....
 
Looks like a Gov. Bomb to me, you don't want that. I'll be up there to remove it for ya on Friday:wink1: .
 
Sorry for the hi-jack but just don't see why others got to keep calling the Gov-Lock in the 14FF's a "bomb". These units are good and strong and when taken care of, will work and perform correctly.
Only the 10 and 12 bolts with GL's should be called Gov-bombs as those definitely are weak. I've broken a 12 bolt GL once. The 14 GL should not be classified as a GB like these smaller axles.

They still break they just dont explode. I am sure we call all of them gov-bombs as a matter of conveinience (sp?). If they are so great why could I not give mine away when I went to a detroit?:dunno:
