Coworker has asked me (apparently I'm the local expert on the GM square bodies
) what I thought was a fair price for this Chevy.
The stats he gave me:
1986 K10...appears to be a shortbed in the pic.
350
TH700R4
129,000 miles
Looks like aftermarket aluminum wheels and a stockish sized mud tire.
All original, unrestored, nice condition inside, no rust. Runs good.
Story goes an old guy had it and only drove it spring through fall then parked it every winter until the mid-late 90's. Then it sat in a barn until late last year when the current owner rescued it, got it going, and then promptly drove it through this last winter as his DD.

My coworker has a mid 80's Camaro the owner apparently is thinking about trading him for. He likes that it's in such good condition and not something you see all that often anymore.
I told him...and pulling this out of my butt completely...but $4000-5000 if it's as nice as it seems and genuine unrestored and not rusty and everything runs/drives/works fine. Five-ten years ago it'd have gone for double that anywhere in the rust belt. Since they use salt here most are rusty so this is somewhat of a premium vehicle.
What say you guys?
