I'll also have some company for the parking lot! I put some hydralics on the hood. It will open and close with a remote.

I think I might just stay in the City Market parking lot. That way I don't have to drive every morning to get a good spot.

I am working on my model airplane motor powered spinner rims. I figure if I make them right the chicks will dig the air flow from down low. If ya get my drift.

Mine is $88 for the 4 nights with a water/electric hookup site. I already received the confirmation back from them.

Just made my reservations also for BB at Slickrock. Are we getting a discount this year again. Cheapest I got was 22.00 a night for the trailer/camper. Anyone got it cheaper? I'm also looking for water and electric for the hookup.

You guys that are going...do yourselves a favor and 'volunteer' one of you to nail down the group rate.

We got hosed last year as nobody got the group rate ($7 per nite). Even the Bronco dudes and the XJ people got the group rate.

Volunteer one person, make a list of all staying at the slick-rock, then get said volunteer to get it nailed down firm and put all of you as close togehter as possible.

That was the other problem we had...everyone was randomly camped. Again, the Jeep guys and the Bronco guys all got areas of their own.

If I was going this year I'd volunteer myself. /forums/images/graemlins/doah.gif

You guys sit on your hands and don't speak up the camping will cost you double or more.

Can't go this year so I haven't been reading this forum a lot lately. It's not too late, but there isn't a bunch of time left either.

Actually the timing is OK, because you guys have a pretty good ideas of all that are going and all that are camping now.

I just don't want to see you guys paying $18 a night for a 10x10 chunk of gravel when the group rate is $7 and you have a group.

I doubt it. If someone can step up and 'represent' the group you should be able to get a refund of the extra you paid. Hell, you can cancel up to 14 days from the actual date of camping and get a 100% refund...

I'm just trying to save you guys some money. Plus it'd be a lot more fun and less bothersome to other campers if you're all in one area.

Again, someone needs to step up and coordinate this between all of you and the Slickrock campground.
