So will yall still be my friends...

Just read your thread from start to end. SUPER COOL DUDE!! Love the 55 style. Now you got me thinking about getting another cruiser.

So yer gonna swing that way huh :p: ?

Yup, I think I've already decided that I'm going that way. It'll hurt for a little while but I think I'll get over it, especially if I get to keep some of the high end 9 inch parts that I have. Did think about a 4Runner for a few seconds until that whole straight axle comparison was made:D

Thanks :thumb:

I love the 55s style too.I had never seen one in person before the day I picked this one up.A few pics and a few phone conversations and I bought it pretty much sight unseen.Drove 6 hours round trip to get it.

The funny thing is that it had been passed around a small circle of Cruiser head friends over the past decade.

And the guy that owned it previous to the guy I bought it from has a 55 on a Blazer frame too.He had planned to do it to mine but it never came to be and he ended up selling it :D

Lucky me :woot:

IF I had to start over from scratch it would be a 4Runner.Solid axle swaps aint like buildin a rocket ship :tongue1: Smog is kind of a downer though.

And dont worry about yer Jeep thing Bubba,I picked up a flat fander a couple years ago and have been wheelin it off and on :waytogo:

Rig looks great...

But, the best part is seeing the face of your son behind the wheel...:waytogo:

Mine hasn't wheeled my Blazer yet, but he has moved it out of the way at camp... Next trip he's gonna white knuckle the steering wheel while I spot for him...:D

Nothing better than being "That Dad"...
