I picked up an 89 K5 last year and did a few upgrades (new carpet, new wheels & tires, sound system and a few interior upgrades). Truck is in amazing shape and definitely found a gem.
In the near future, I would like to upgrade the suspension (shocks, cross over steering) and maybe upgrade to disc brakes all around. Does anyone know of a good shop or mechanic in the SoCal area (IE, OC, LA) that's not going to charge my first born for work or keep my truck for weeks. I'm pretty good with mechanical work but I'm not sure if I have all the tools and skills needed for the work. Thank you
