so as most in here know, 95% of my work is semi-mobile using various tool bags... per the recent thread... I've since picked up 6 various new bags thru eghey...
now with this approach, socket storage becomes something of an issue... the absolute best solution I found yrs ago where the fancy, push to release ones from snappy..
the magnetic trays don't work.. standard metal rails start getting tweaked after awhile.. the only other ones that seem like they work decent are the "turn socket 90* to get off or lock".. but the only one of those I have is 1/2", and the damn things like 30"s long.. ok for the toolbox, but not baggable.... I haven't managed to find any metal mac type trays with the flip up arm... they might be decent.. but i've never bought a set that came in those..
so, anyway.....
here's kinda the rant I have... so I have some of these push to release ones.. like this...
some may remember snappy selling them.... well, I have a pair of 1/2", 3/8" and 1/4" ones.. they've worked very well and I want to get some of my other socket sets, adapters, etc on em.. maybe 2 or 3 more of each size..... so i've been in the market.. got a good deal on eghey for a 1/2" and a 1/4".. only 2 auctions.. so i figure let me peak at snappy and see if by chance they are still selling them...
wow, listed.. cool.. go to page, and they only list 1/2" and 1/4" !!!
then I remembered the 3/8" where somewhat of a hassle to get for some reason back in the day too......
just annoys the he!! out of me that I finally find a good solution to my storage issue, and apparently can't buy what I need.. wtf, someones making 1/4 and 1/2 for em, but doesn't do 3/8?
