Socko Bc109

Hey Dean, How are you doing? It did pretty good after Noah and Chris gave it the Midas touch. It kept turning off at weird angles not even steep, then the shaft and the coupling that connects to the power steering gear box came off twice until Noah tightened it up. Chris advanced the carb and it ran smoothly the rest of the day. I also had a problem with the tranny linkage popping the drive gear out when at an off camber situation. I just put it in Drive and it rolled. Other than that I had a great time. Wheeled 'til about 5:30 and drove it home.

Being the first time out, it drove good.

Thanks for asking.

Check the condition of your body mounts/bushings. I had the same problem when a lower bushing pulled out

Ernie. Is that your tan colored K5? Looks real nice and clean. BTW, in one of the pics, what the hell was that blue burb trying to climb or was he just focking around? Didn't know about your trip. Might have been able to go had I known. Looks like fun.

Hey Hoby, I wish you would have known also. Would have been great to hang out with you and Chris (buefchris). We were suppose to go to Miller but it was closed so we ended up going down the road to BC109. Next time I will have to PM you and 454k30 to make sure you guys come out and play with us. Missed you guys out there.

Yeah the brown CK5 is mine. It did pretty good I think.
