Anyone ever built their own soft doors? Debating giving it a try so I can make this truck a little more all weather friendly. Have zero interest in putting regular doors back on but I want something to keep the elements out when I don’t want the elements in.

I have seen people use regular doors, cut the middle out (basically using the outer ring/shell) and put canvas/clear windows in.

*edit*

basically like this but cut deeper.

The only thing I've ever seen was some doors cut like the Toyota doors in your pics, can't remember who did it though.

I’ve thought about snap in covers for my tube doors, that doesn’t help the top part, but would be better
I would do something like that, set of tube door and make or have made some canvas covers. Maybe some sort of lexan window or half window.
Could be pretty cool if done right.

if your starting with tube doors you can always bend up some 1/4" rod to make a removable upper half and add 2 something for them to slip into, that's really all jeep soft doors are is 1/4" rod.
