Finally added the softtop to my white 89 blazer.. I want to thank the 'General" here on Ck5 for the top.. it was in great shape and I highly recommend him to do business with.
Now I just need my 700r4 replaced so I can enjoy the softtop while driving. /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

Thanks for the compliment's guys..
Don't know if it leaks yet.. not sure I want to know if it does. Since I'm running tubed door's.. I covered the vehicle with a tarp when it rains..
I still need a rear bracket and frame stiffener made.. so I can attach the rear mounting rail for the rear window on the soft top. But by the look's of the mounting brackets.. it shouldn't leak.. the top is nice and snug, tight and I'm going to line all the rails with clear silicone..

got the welder last week and hopefully will pick up some metal in the next couple weeks. come over in a couple weeks and we'll get some brakets fabbed up for ya...

The truck hasn't been on the road in awhile.. so no real current pics except for the soft top being added.

Nice rig man. I've always loved the look of a blazer(any year) with the soft top/side windows removed.

I had to park the truck that close to the garage so the rain won't enter the back part of the truck.. the overhang from the garage kept it nice and dry..
I see you live in Edinburg..
Do you happen to know a Javier Castinella (I think that's how you spell his last name).. he used to work with me here in Round Rock years ago.. and moved back to Edinberg.. He drives a 97 Chevy zr2 pickup.. extended cab and it's green.. I just thought I'd ask.. ya never know.. right?
