Soft Top Confusion

Does anyone have any info on where to find a soft top for a 72 Blazer? I have looked at Softopper.com and didn't really care for them. Are they the only company out there that make them?

At the moment, yes, Softtopper is the only one making them. Your only other options are finding a used one, or going to a marine canvas shop and having one made.

In addition to AJ's comments, the softopper version is pretty similar to the other STC version that's no longer available new. The biggest difference seems to be the windows are smaller (which kinda sucks), but I think the mounting brackets and hardware are nicer on the softopper.

I have a softopper and love it so far. The only complaint that I have would be about the design of the header. There should be a lip that the top curls over so that at high speed the wind & rain cannot seep through.

That said even in heavy rain at 70Mph there is only a drop or two every once in a while.

The top seem to be very high quality, is a snap to install and looks in my opinion very nice. I am even considering ditching my hard top for good.

I don't have a hard top at all. Just an STC top.

I've got an old 1st gen Best Top (No longer made as well) and my hard top just sits in the rafters.

I have recently been asked to sell a STC top that is new in the box for my old man. It is black w/ tinted and zip out windows. It is in the box and packaging. He wants 550...I can send pics

Hey cozlaw, do you know if that top you have is the Snap Top or the Fast Trac Top. I might would be interested in that, but it wouldn"t be for another couple weeks.
