I haven't had a K5 in nearly two years now, and now I am about to purchase another one (this will be my third). My first one had a custom made curtain/ tonneau, and when I bought my second one, I bought a STC curtain/tonneau. So now I am looking for another ragtop, only I'd like the full top rather than the tonneau, since recent additions will call for a kid seat in the back.

After some looking, it looks like STC and Kayline are both out of the Blazer top business, and I was wondering if anybody knew of any options I may have besides the Bestop Tigertop.

Thanks

Evan

For new stuff, Bestop is the only player right now. STC and / or CanBack both say they'll eventually start making them again but who knows when.

Canback lists K5 tops as shipping 1st quarter 08 on their site, IDK if they are, might want to contact them. About a $1300 top though!:eek1:

that's $100 more than i paid for my k5. :screwy:

some guys have mentioned using scout or jeep scrambler soft tops on full vert k5s. they could be adapted to work on a half-cab.

not to drag this too far off topic, but I didn't want to start a new thread on it...

for those that where looking for instructions for the STC fasttrack, I have them sitting on my desk here and can photo them for anyone that needs em...

back to the regularly scheduled programming....

Regarding the fast track instructions:
Is that instructions to fab the mounting components, or instructions to sew a new top? If it is either of these, I would like a copy. Thx.

well, then you would just want the diagrams, not the text...

I'll take a pic of them and see how they look..

eh, I'll have to scan em at work....

If you don't mind I'd love a copy, I just bought a used Fasttrack. No hurry. :thumb:
