I picked up this soft top a couple of months ago on craigslist for real cheap and finally had some time to get it on my truck and now im about half way done with it... i need a second set of hands to get the rest of the snaps on but i am really liking it... even with it rolled up its really cool

so when i get a hot day with some free time i am going to finish but i really really like it

what brand is that? do you have to drill holes in the body for the snaps? i got an stc used for 400 and it was worth every penny. especially since its hot now and i can take the top by myself. just don't lock your doors because it would be better for someone to steal your stuff then cut your top and then steal your stuff since they don't make them any more. have fun with it

Could'nt you use a strip of steel, drill holes so you can bolt it to your existing mounting holes, roll the outside edge to match the contour of the body and rivet the snaps to that? I know it sounds like a lot of work but,....I just hate snaps and drilling them into the body.

I'm sure you could...some people just do what the directions say or what seems correct to do...but , if it is supposed to mount to the top of the roof and the holes are vertical and not horizontal then you'd have to fab something a lil more complex like a piece of angle instead of flat bar...

True, your right. I'm just trying suggest a way you could unbolt something from the Blazer if you ever put the hard top back on and not show of any snaps on the side. It seems like I always get caught on those damn things.

looks like to me the snaps are on the ROOF LINE not the side rails...i believe they make a side rail rack using the existing holes (don't have one so I'm not 100%) maybe someone who has one installed would be glad to elaborate on this for us...

for this top the snaps are on the roof, around the body, and on the tailgate. im sure i could fab up something so i don't have to put the snaps in the body... but i really don't plan on putting the hard top back on so i don't see much of a need

looks real good. hey grab a plunger and pull that dent out of you door and you truck would really look nice.

I took of the door panel and tryed to push it out but that was the best i could do... i am going to be doing half doors in a little bit so i might just cut that part out.

man they look awesome...someone needs to start selling something like that for us mechanically challenged people...
