I have a Warn 8274 on the front of my rig. My rig stays outside 80% of the time. I would like to buy a soft cover for it. I know Warn makes them, but They are about $60 (too much IMO) & I question the quality since they are vinyl.

I have seen aftermarket (non-name brand) covers made from Neoprene for 4 wheeler winches. So does anyone know of a company that makes aftermarket winch covers for truck winches?

No, I do not want to make one, or spend the time to get someone local to make me one.

Thanks, Boz

Do not use one, they will actually make your winch sweat and cause them to rust. This is why Warn doesn't actually make them anymore but they have 1000's in inventory so they need to get rid of them lol

My 8274 is outside 100% of the time and I live in the Pacific Northwest(Rain capital)never had an issue with mine ever.

My winch is as old as me and its been uncovered its entire life. No problems.

I wouldn't worry about it.
