Softlocker

Is $345 a good price for a softlocker? Any disadvantages to the softlocker versus a regular detroit locker for the 14 FF?

1986 GMC Jimmy 6" springs 3" body, 38/15.5/15 Swampers, 14-bolt FF rear, Dana 60 front, 1991 front-end.

there is no regular detroit anymore all have been superceded by soft locker. same strength I think, just added some bevel springs or ???

You can find Detroits for 14 bolts for about $330. Its only $15 but it money you can use somewhere else. Just search around the net.

My Chevy isn't broken, its just out of gas.
