Softopper Soft Top guys, removing the middle support and letting it rest on the cage....complete

Thank you for noticing as I had a lot of thought and work into that.

I did put either angle or X bracing on every axis, and the roof X brace I had the kids sit in the back seat while I moved the mockup tape so the bars went between their heads as much as possible and not above them, even though they are quite far away.

Then I rolled those bars in the roller to curve them up against the softopper just like the front and rear hoops. But I rolled them a little too much by accident so then I just tilted them sideways a little too to curve around the center passenger since I was thinking about putting a bend to do that anyway, which made the notching a little complicated when it was curving at an angle into other tubes that were curving as well, and gaps are even more critical with the thinner wall chromoly tubing. But it turned out great, I was really happy with it when done. I may still add padding on that just for extra precaution in case a tall person ever gets back there and doesn't have their harness tight enough.
If I ever get to doing a cage ut has to be good while not taking the cargo space or intruding into the passenger area.
